Are you an experienced Manager looking to lead and grow an exciting new service offering?

We are currently recruiting for a Service Manager to join an innovative and growing business based in Ipswich. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a brand-new area of the business. building and developing a nationwide network of third-party calibration and servicing partners while driving commercial growth.

Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Platform teams, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business, ensuring high service standards and delivering outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities: -

Build, develop and manage a network of third-party calibration and servicing partners across the UK and Ireland
Recruit, onboard and support new engineering partners as the service offering expands
Act as the primary point of contact for partner engineers, developing strong long-term relationships
Carry out on-site visits to assess partner performance, ensuring quality, compliance and standards are consistently maintained
Support the rollout of new calibration and servicing disciplines through the company's online platform
Work closely with Sales and Marketing to develop and deliver the go-to-market strategy for the new department
Contribute to pricing strategies, partner rate cards and margin management to ensure commercial success
Monitor partner performance, lead times and capacity to ensure customer demand is met
Collaborate with internal departments to continually improve delivery and customer satisfaction

About You: -

Previous experience in Service Management, Supplier Management or Partner Network Development
Strong commercial awareness with experience contributing to pricing and profitability
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple suppliers, projects and priorities
Confident working across multiple departments to deliver business objectives
Comfortable travelling throughout the UK and Ireland to visit customers and partners
Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for building and growing new business opportunities

Desirable Experience: -

Background within calibration, testing, compliance, facilities management or another form of quality / engineering
Experience building or managing third-party supplier or subcontractor networks
Previous involvement in launching or growing a new department
