This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to lead an aftersales team within a well-established dealership. The Vehicle Service Manager will oversee the delivery of high-quality customer service and ensure the efficient operation of the workshop, contributing to the dealership’s continued success.

Manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction
Lead and support a team comprising Vehicle Technicians, Service Advisors, a Workshop Controller, and parts staff
Maximise workshop utilisation and profitability through efficient labour sales
Maintain strong customer relations and resolve any service issues promptly
Implement and uphold dealership policies to enhance customer experience and service standards
Support the training and development of team members
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Monitor and report on departmental performance to senior managementRequirements of the Service Manager:

Proven experience as a Service or Aftersales Manager within a medium to large franchise-approved dealership
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
IT literacy and familiarity with dealership management systems
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Live within a reasonable commute to Trowbridge
