Description:

An exciting vacancy has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to join a leading provider of high-quality industrial solutions, renowned for their commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. They serve a diverse clientele across various industries, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of their systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the service department, ensuring exceptional service delivery, managing a team of service technicians, and maintaining strong relationships with their customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and lead the service department to ensure high-quality service delivery
Coordinate and schedule service activities, ensuring timely and efficient completion
Supervise and support a team of service technicians
Maintain and enhance customer relationships
Monitor service performance metrics and implement improvements to achieve departmental goals
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally and effectively
Develop and maintain service procedures, policies, and standards
Play an active role in recruitment of new team members as well as providing training and development opportunities to existing colleagues
To be considered for this Service Manager position:

Proven experience in a service management role, preferably within an industrial, engineering or technical field
Experience within Gas systems, heating, cooling or HVAC would be ideal
Strong leadership and team management skills
Technical knowledge of industrial systems and related equipment is highly desirable
Proficiency in using service management software and tools
A proactive and customer-focused approach
