Service Manager – Leaving Care Team
Location: Peterborough (Hybrid Working Available)
Rate: £450 per day
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Manager to lead and oversee the Leaving Care Team in Peterborough.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled manager with a strong background in children's services and leaving care provision to make a significant impact on the lives of young people transitioning into adulthood.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and operational management of the Leaving Care Team.
Ensure high-quality services are delivered in line with statutory requirements and best practice.
Lead, support, and develop staff to achieve positive outcomes for care leavers.
Manage performance, budgets, and service improvement initiatives.
Work collaboratively with partner agencies and stakeholders.Requirements:
Significant management experience within Children's Services.
Strong knowledge of legislation, policy, and practice relating to Leaving Care Services.
Proven ability to lead teams and drive service improvements.
Social Work qualification and registration desirable.Rate: £450 per day
