Description:

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Service Engineer required to join a leading engineering supplier specializing in Hydraulic service and repair. This role offers the exciting opportunity to be part of the inaugural team, with excellent prospects for career advancement. 

The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Service Engineer will provide mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of Hydraulic hoses and related products into several different engineering industries across the South East UK including Harlow, Chelmsford, Colchester and surrounding areas.

The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Service Engineer will ideally have mechanical engineering service experience in hydraulics, hydraulic hose, pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, accumulators, seals, filters, fluid connectors or similar mechanical engineering products.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Service Engineer Role

Will provide mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of Hydraulic hoses and related products into several different engineering industries across the South East UK including Harlow, Chelmsford, Colchester and surrounding areas.
The Hydraulic Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of hydraulic hoses at customer sites and the depot.
Installing hydraulic hoses into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on hydraulic equipment.
Liaise with various engineering departments.Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Service Engineer Requirements

Proven service / maintenance skills on mechanical engineering systems.
Experience as a Trainee Service Engineer, Apprentice Engineer, Apprentice Technician, Entry level Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or similar.
Will ideally have mechanical engineering service experience in hydraulics, hydraulic hose, pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, accumulators, seals, filters, fluid connectors or similar mechanical engineering products.
Full UK driver’s license
Background in hydraulics would be advantageous. 
Flexibility to travel to customer sites and to the workshop near Harlow for training and part collection
