Job title: Air Conditioning Service Engineer
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Job type: Temporary to Permanent
Benefit: Company vehicle

Are you passionate about delivering top-notch service while ensuring the comfort and safety of customers? We are seeking a meticulous and customer-focused individual to join our team as an AirCon Service Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct servicing and preventative maintenance on customers’ air conditioning systems with precision and care.
- Identify and recommend additional services to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate administrative records promptly.
- Handle equipment responsibly and ensure its proper care and control.
- Foster regular communication with customers and our head office to ensure seamless operations.
- Meet and exceed key performance standards through adaptability and flexibility.

Person Specification:
- Customer-focused with a dedication to exceptional service.
- Excellent customer service skills with a methodical approach to work.
- Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise tasks independently.
- Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Inquisitive nature with a desire to continuously learn and improve.
- A supportive team player willing to travel and stay overnight if necessary.

Skills Experience, and Knowledge:
Essentials
- Technical expertise in servicing fixed split & multi-split air conditioning systems.
- Proficiency in working at ceiling height and lifting heavy loads as required.
- Experience in lone working within a business-to-business service industry.
- Familiarity with safety, quality, and environmentally sensitive industry practices.
- Experience in remote work under a control centre.
- An electrical or mechanical background is advantageous
- Valid UK driving licence.

Working Towards:
- Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) vocational qualification.
- Experience with VRV/VRF Air Conditioning Systems from various manufacturers.
- Certification in Safe Handling of Refrigerants (C&G 2079 or CITB J11).

- Maintain a clean and well-organised service vehicle.
- Present yourself professionally at all times.
- Build a strong reputation with customers, reflected in positive feedback scores.
- Ensure quality audits reflect minimal non-conformances.
