Description:

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer required to join a leading supplier of compressed air systems and associated electromechanical products and services.

The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on compressed air equipment plus installations on compressed air pipework at customer sites across the South of the UK-Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, London and surrounding areas. Full product training provided. 

The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will ideally have a field Service background in compressed air such as compressors, filtration, pipework, nitrogen generators, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, refrigeration dryers, blowers, rotating equipment or similar compressed air related products involving 3 phase electrics.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Role
To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites into various industries.
The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of compressed air systems, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air products.
Installing compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.
Maintain, repair, and install air compressors, pipework, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air equipment across the South of the UK - Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, London and surrounding areas.
Liaise with various engineering departments.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Requirements
Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical/mechanical engineering systems.
Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar within compressed air.
The ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls.
Demonstrated experience in installing pipework to engineering specifications and safety standards is advantageous.
Field Service background in compressed air such as compressors, filtration, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, rotating equipment or similar compressed air related products involving 3 phase electrics. 
A technical mechanical  / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
Homebased, willing to travel South UK  - Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, London and surrounding areas
