Service Desk Controller

Description:

Our Peterborough based client is looking for a highly organised Service Desk Controller to join them on a full-time permanent basis, working Monday to Friday working 40 hours per week, between the hours of 7:30 am – 5 pm on a rota basis. Opportunity to work from home, 1 day per week after successful probation.
As a Service Desk Controller, you'll be responsible for handling customer service requests, scheduling field engineers, coordinating parts, and ensuring maintenance and breakdown calls are managed efficiently to deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities for the Service Desk Controller
* Handle customer enquiries by phone and email.
* Schedule field engineers and manage daily workloads.
* Coordinate service calls, parts orders and job planning.
* Raise invoices and maintain accurate service records.
* Follow up quotations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Experienced needed for the Service Desk Controller
* Experience in service coordination, engineer scheduling or workshop planning..
* Excellent organisational, communication and IT skills.
* Able to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure.
* A positive, customer-focused team player with strong attention to detail.
Benefits
In return, our client is offering a starting salary of up to £34,000 depending on experience, 24 days annual leave plus public holidays, contributory pension, hybrid working model post probation, sick pay, life assurance, healthcare scheme.
