Service Delivery Manager

Location: East Hertfordshire, SG9 9ER

Pay: £44,727 Annually, plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 45 hours per week, plus Saturday working following Bank Holidays

What you'll be doing;

Safe delivery of a first time collection culture adhering to all contractual performance KPIs

Managing people & assets to deliver / exceed service expectations

Driving innovation and change for customers, working with client teams and members of the public to provide exemplary service.

Developing an excellent day to day relationship with client team, and trade union representatives. Built on trust and service delivery.

Managing people & assets to deliver efficient & profitable service.

To work within budgetary controls and to be accountable for spend on staffing, overtime and agency spend.

Maintain a compliant and well run fleet of vehicles.

Seek efficiencies to maximise contract performance.

Utilise data from ECHO, Vision and Power BI to improve operational performance

Carry out effective crew monitoring, performance reviews, training and team briefings.

Debriefing crews fully on ECHO, ensuring vehicles and driver cards are downloaded in line with company policy

Debriefing driver compliance, infringements, over weights, speeding and harsh breaking in line with company policy

Provide service reports as required by the contract manager

Deputising for the Operations Manager when required.

Covering other Service Delivery Managers across all locations as and when required.

Required to work all Bank Holiday Catch Up Saturdays

Ensure all fleet compliance requirements as directed by the TM1 and/or the Contract Manager

Any reasonable Management instruction
