Service Delivery Manager
Remote - occasional travel to Croydon and other client sites
Up to £670 per day inside ir35
Initial 3-month contract (extension likely)

We're looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to join a major government technology transformation programme, helping deliver the next generation of secure law enforcement data services.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in technical cloud delivery, leading multidisciplinary infrastructure teams within complex, highly secure environments.
You'll be responsible for coordinating the delivery of critical cloud infrastructure that supports multiple product teams, working alongside DevOps Engineers, Database Administrators, Network Managers, Technical Architects and FinOps specialists to ensure successful programme delivery.
What you'll be doing
Leading the delivery of a highly skilled technical infrastructure team
Managing delivery plans, risks, issues and dependencies across multiple workstreams
Providing clear progress updates to both technical and senior business stakeholders
Facilitating Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups and sprint planning
Maintaining visibility of technical environments and their utilisation
Tracking environment ownership and supporting governance activities
Coordinating infrastructure readiness for product delivery teams
Supporting environment lifecycle management, including decommissioning where appropriate
Working closely with engineering teams to remove blockers and enable successful delivery
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Delivery Manager leading technical cloud infrastructure projects
Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams including DevOps, Infrastructure, Networks, Database Administration and Architecture
Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience reporting to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to manage competing priorities within large-scale transformation programmes
Previous experience delivering projects within secure or regulated environments
Desirable
Experience delivering government or public sector technology programmes
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Experience working within highly secure environments
Understanding of infrastructure governance and environment management
