Service Coordinator

Location: Sheffield
Temporary - potential to go permanent.
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join our clients Sheffield's branch on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and customer-focused individual to play a key role in supporting our service operations and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities as a Service Coordinator:

Handling reactive customer calls professionally and efficiently.
Scheduling maintenance work, breakdown call-outs, return visits, commissioning activities, and additional service requirements.
Ensuring the effective utilisation of service engineers.
Maintaining accurate service records and updating information on the service management system.
Processing engineer job sheets through Protean, from completion through to invoicing.
Responding to customer enquiries regarding work carried out on site.
Maintaining accurate customer records, contract profiles, and renewal correspondence.
Coordinating compressor spares and parts to support scheduled service work and repairs.
Working closely with the Service Manager to identify and implement operational improvements.
Providing day-to-day support to engineers.
Assisting the Service Manager with the development and implementation of Personal Development Plans (PDPs).Skills & Experience Required as Service Coordinator

The ideal candidate will possess:

Excellent customer service skills.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient IT skills and confidence using service management systems.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
