An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Co-ordinator to assist with the co-ordination or services and repairs for customers based all over the UK. Working for a fantastic company, based at their satellite office in Folkestone, Kent. This is a full-time, permanent role working 37.5 hours a week and working hours of 09:00 – 17:00

The company supply pumps and associated equipment to from many different industries and projects all over the UK. These include Agriculture, Building Services, Sewerage and Swimming Pool industries to name but a few. They are a very friendly and professional team and are seeking a like-minded individual who is able to look after customers and co-ordinate Engineers. The company are well-established and going from strength to strength making this a great time to join them.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

* Assessing customers needs and offer appropriate product/ service recommendations

* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities

* Dealing with enquiries from customers via telephone and email

* Scheduling service appointments ensuring a sensible and most efficient routing to ensure Engineers are not travelling excessive miles unnecessarily for planned and reactive maintenance

* Processing service call-out, installation commissioning reports through customer correspondence

* Raising quotations for maintenance and remedial works

* Making sure all information is continuously updated accurately on the system

* Prioritising appointments where essential repairs are needed to minimise downtime for customers

* Working with the other team members to solve more complicated technical issues/ breakdowns

* Checking stock levels and ordering items using the in-house stock management system

* During busy times, answering calls and taking messages as necessary

* Adhoc administration duties are required to support other team members

We are seeking someone with the following skills and attributes:

* A strong team player with a can-do attitude and the ability to multitask

* Brilliant communication skills both on the telephone and email , with an unflappable nature and the ability to build solid relationships with both new and existing customers, engineers and subcontractors

* Some previous experience with technical products or pump industry related products would be great

* The ability to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty

* Solid IT and administration skills using MS office suite

* Some previous experience within a similar role would be really helpful

* Experience of working with CRM system, Field Management and POS System would be hugely beneficial

* Attention to detail is also really important within this position

* Some geographical awareness of counties, major towns/ cities would be helpful too
