Role:                Service Coordinator
Based:              Stonehouse, Gloucester, GL10
Duration:          Temporary to permanent
Rate:                £30,000 - £33,000 (hourly rate equivalent)
Hours               37 hours – 8/8.30am  –  4/4.30pm

NES Fircroft are recruiting for a Service Coordinator on behalf of our client, a global, industry leading power and technology company.

Service Coordinator
Working as part of a friendly team in based in Stonehouse Service Centre, GL10 you will be responsible for the handling and processing of customer service requests and orders. Excellent Customer Service skills required and the ability to multi-task.

The Service Coordinator role involves the planning & scheduling of both field service resource and factory technicians, including reporting and invoicing to meet our customer requirements and achieve business targets.

Accountabilities
Supporting customer from initiation of the service request until completion.
Providing customer with quotations or schedule of rates (as necessary).
Processing sales orders in line with Service Rates / expected completion and billing dates.
Plan/schedule field service team that timelines/customer needs are met this includes keeping engineers informed of any changes to scope or movement of dates. Working to business KPI’s.
Raise requests for materials required for site from either item from stock or third-party suppliers.
Raise invoices in accordance with service contract billing plan or completion of field service reports.
Process requests for new customer accounts, sales order release or credit amendments.
Assist in monthly review of work in progress and ensure orders are being processed correctly.
Assist in resolving any customer disputes to ensure timely payment and customer satisfaction are maintained.
Prepare and issue customer proposals on receipt of RFQ’s.
Maintain and update Salesforce as required.
Create contracts in SAP ERP system in accordance with the Order Entry checklist and contract documentation. Maintain billing plan, margin information and contract deliverables.
Maintaining on-call register, training records etc as instructed by the Manager.Skills and Experience of the Service Coordinator
Previous experience of working in a customer service environment, happy to contact clients via telephone and demonstrating excellent communication & listening skills.  
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
Demonstrate ability to plan and prioritise workload.    
Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative and demonstrate attention to detail.
Experience in SAP advantageous (although training would be given) or similar use of ERP system.
Ability to demonstrate the importance of commercial awareness.
Team members must be able to effectively handle difficult and challenging situations whilst ensuring the customer’s needs are understood.
It is vital that the coordinator can multitask as the fluidity of the business means that changes are likely to impact on schedules as the customer and business priorities evolve.
