Service Advisor
Location: Falmouth, Cornwall
Salary: £30,000 basic + £37,600 OTE
DK Recruitment is working with an established automotive business in Falmouth to recruit an experienced and customer focused Service Advisor to join its busy Aftersales team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service, building strong relationships and working in a fast-paced workshop environment, with genuine opportunities for career development and progression.
The Role
As a Service Advisor, you will be the main point of contact for customers throughout their vehicle servicing and repair journey, ensuring a professional, seamless experience from the initial booking through to vehicle collection.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
* Managing service bookings, vehicle check-ins and customer handovers.
* Keeping customers updated throughout the servicing and repair process.
* Liaising closely with technicians, Workshop Controllers and Parts departments to ensure an efficient workflow.
* Explaining Vehicle Health Check findings and advising customers on any additional work required.
* Providing accurate information on repair costs, timelines and recommended work.
* Handling customer enquiries and resolving concerns professionally.
* Maintaining accurate customer records, service documentation and job details.
* Supporting the Aftersales team in achieving departmental targets and performance objectives.
About You
We're looking for a professional, organised and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering an excellent customer experience.
Ideally, you will have:
* Previous experience in a Service Advisor or similar customer-facing automotive role.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* The ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
* The ability to work effectively within a busy aftersales or workshop environment.
* A full, valid UK driving licence.
Working Hours
* 40 hours per week
* Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern:
* 8:00am – 4:30pm
* 9:30am – 6:00pm
* Saturday mornings on a rota basis: 8:30am – 1:00pm.
