Description:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Service Advisor in Eastbourne, East Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals to join a reputable main dealer within a multi-brand dealer group that has a longstanding presence across the UK. The ideal individual will demonstrate strong customer service skills, automotive knowledge, and a proactive attitude to deliver outstanding service standards.

Basic salary up to £32,000, dependent on experience
OTE of approximately £40,000 through an attractive bonus structure

Handle customer enquiries and address queries efficiently and professionally
Qualify service needs and diagnose vehicle issues when necessary
Obtain customer approval and agreement on work to be carried out
Maintain accurate records within the service department management system
Manage the handover and administration of loan vehicles
Clearly explain work carried out on vehicles to customers, ensuring full understanding and authorisation
Ensure compliance with manufacturer service schedules and guidelines
Adhere to health and safety protocols and company working standards
Maintain high standards of customer communication and service deliveryRequirements of the Service Advisor:

Full UK Driving Licence
Previous experience within the automotive or dealership environment
Strong organisational and communication skills
Passion for delivering excellent customer service
Good understanding of vehicles and common automotive issues
Experience with Power systems is advantageous
