We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-regarded family-run service centre in Woking, seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to join their team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service and working within a reputable automotive environment. The successful Service Advisor will be the key link between customers and the workshop, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction are maintained at all times.

21 days annual leave plus bank holidaysDuties of the Service Advisor:

Greet and assist customers at reception in a friendly and professional manner
Book customer vehicles into the workshop and manage diary appointments using bespoke IT systems
Discuss vehicle concerns and repair options with customers
Prepare accurate estimates and obtain customer approval prior to work commencement
Liaise with technicians to monitor vehicle progress and ensure timely completion
Manage workshop workflow and update customers throughout the repair process
Order parts, manage warranty claims, and handle returned parts
Prepare invoices and process payments accurately
Arrange loan vehicles to support customer satisfaction
Identify additional maintenance opportunities to support business growth
Contribute to the overall customer experience and service qualityRequirements:

Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive industry is preferred but not essential
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Organisation and attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment under pressure
Comfortable working with computer systems and workshop management software
Reliable with a positive attitude and professional approach
