CHIPPENHAM | £31,000 BASIC | £6,000 BONUS + SERVICE PLAN COMMISSION | MONDAY–FRIDAY + 1 IN 2 SATURDAYS (MORNING ONLY)
A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED SERVICE ADVISOR
Looking for a Service Advisor role with a strong basic salary, realistic bonus and excellent earning potential — without giving up your Saturdays?
This Chippenham opportunity offers a £31,000 basic salary, up to £6,000 bonus, plus additional commission on service plans. Strong performers have the opportunity to earn £40,000–£45,000+.
And when you are required to work a Saturday, it’s morning only — 8:30am to 12:30pm.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join an established automotive business in Chippenham.
You’ll be working within a busy and customer-focused Aftersales environment, managing customers throughout the service and repair process while maximising appropriate additional sales opportunities.
* £31,000 basic salary
* Up to £6,000 bonus
* Additional commission on service plans
* £40,000–£45,000+ potential for strong performers
* Monday–Friday
* 1 in 2 Saturdays — morning only, 8:30am–12:30pm
* No full Saturdays — Saturday working finishes at 12:30pm
* Opportunity to significantly increase earnings through service-plan commission
THE ROLE
* Manage customers throughout the service and repair journey.
* Book vehicles into the workshop and manage customer requirements.
* Provide clear updates on vehicle progress, additional work and completion times.
* Liaise closely with Technicians and the Workshop team.
* Prepare accurate estimates and invoices where required.
* Identify and maximise appropriate additional sales opportunities, including service plans.
* Maintain excellent levels of customer satisfaction throughout the process.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You’ll need
* Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Good understanding of Service and Aftersales operations.
* Confident working in a busy, target-driven environment.
* Professional and organised approach.
* It would be great if you also have
* Previous main dealership experience.
* Experience working with service plans and additional sales.
* Strong upselling and customer retention skills.
* Experience using automotive dealer management systems.
