Description:
We are recruiting an experienced Service Advisor to join our franchised main dealership in Southampton, Hampshire, representing an exciting electric and hybrid vehicle brand.
This Service Advisor position offers the opportunity to develop your aftersales career within a modern purpose-built workshop, service centre and showroom. We are a multi-site dealership group with a strong presence across Hampshire and the South West, committed to delivering outstanding customer service and supporting employee development.
Benefits:
Basic salary of up to £30,000, dependent on experience
On-target earnings of £38,500
Monday to Friday, 08:00–18:00, with a one-hour lunch break
No weekend working

Supportive management and future development opportunitiesDuties of a Service Advisor:
As our Service Advisor, you will welcome customers when they drop off and collect their vehicles for servicing or repairs.
Record customer requests accurately and communicate them to the workshop team.
Keep customers updated on vehicle progress throughout the day.
Cost additional work and obtain customer authorisation before proceeding.
Prepare and present invoices and associated paperwork.
Explain completed work clearly to customers.
Promote service plans, extended warranties and other aftersales products.Requirements:
Previous Service Advisor experience is preferred; experienced Parts Advisors will also be considered.
Strong customer service and satisfaction skills.
Confident communication and upselling abilities.
Good IT literacy; experience with CDK or Kerridge is advantageous.
Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage customer appointments effectively.
Full UK driving licence.
