We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy and successful premium main dealership in Shrewsbury.

Service Advisor Role As a Service Advisor, your responsibilities will include:

Booking vehicles in for MOTs, servicing, maintenance and repairs
Meeting and greeting customers and providing an excellent customer experience
Keeping customers regularly updated while their vehicle is in the workshop
Advising customers on warranty coverage
Identifying and upselling additional work, parts and accessories
Liaising with technicians and the wider Aftersales department
Organising workshop appointments around workload and availability
Managing a high volume of customers, telephone calls and online enquiries
Advising customers on expected repair and turnaround times
Maintaining accurate customer and vehicle records
Updating dealership systems with bookings and customer information
Explaining technical information clearly and professionally to customersService Advisor Requirements
Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry
Strong customer service and communication skills
Confident working within a busy dealership environment
Ability to build rapport quickly with customers
Commercially aware with confidence upselling additional products and services
Strong organisation and administration skills
Experience using Kerridge / ADP or similar dealer management systems would be advantageous
Ability to work independently and as part of a busy Aftersales team
Genuine interest in the automotive industryHours 42 hours per week
Monday to Friday: 8:00am–6:00pm, with one early finish per week
Saturday: 8:00am–2:00pm on a rota
