Description:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Service Advisor to join their reputable and expanding automotive business in Nottingham. This is a key role within a well-established company committed to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards across their modern workshop facilities. The Service Advisor will play a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient communication, high-quality service, and smooth operational flow.

Benefits:

Up to £30,000 basic salary, with bonus earning potential
Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30am – 5:30pm
One in two Saturdays, with time off during the week

Greet customers and understand their vehicle servicing and repair needs
Book customer vehicles into the workshop and manage appointments efficiently
Provide timely updates to customers throughout the repair process
Liaise effectively with technicians and workshop staff to ensure smooth operations
Prepare accurate estimates and obtain customer authorisation for additional work
Explain repairs and servicing requirements clearly to customers
Handle customer queries professionally, resolving issues promptly
Ensure all customer records and paperwork are correctly maintained
Identify opportunities for additional services and explain these to customers
Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service from start to finishRequirements of a Service Advisor:

Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive sector
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
Confident in dealing face-to-face and over the phone with customers
Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities
Well-versed in vehicle servicing and repair processes
Professional attitude with a positive approach
Good attention to detail and accurate administrative skills
