Service Advisor

Description:

SF Recruiting are searching for a Temporary Service Advisor for a Car Dealership located in the heart of Derby City Centre.

You will be the primary point of contact for our customers regarding their vehicle service needs.
Your role will involve welcoming customers, understanding their concerns, and ensuring a seamless communication process between the customer and our mechanics
You will play a crucial role in advising on repairs, estimating costs, scheduling appointments, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome customers and provide a comprehensive explanation of the services offered by the dealership.
Advise customers on potential cost savings and warranty protections.
Listen to and document customers' vehicle problems and relay the information accurately to the mechanics.
Liaise between customers and mechanics to ensure clear communication about repairs and service appointments.
Answer customer questions about service outcomes after consulting with the mechanics if necessary.
Estimate car repair costs and provide customers with a time frame for completion of repairs.
Schedule car check-ups and service appointments in coordination with both customers and mechanics.
Resolve any customer complaints that may arise after repair services have been rendered.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and documentation skills.
Ability to understand and explain technical information to customers.
Proficiency with computer systems and dealership management software.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours
Monday - Friday 8-6 and 8-12 every other Saturday Morning
