We are currently seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join a reputable automotive dealership in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor to work within a modern, well-equipped workshop and showroom, delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of the dealership’s aftersales department.

Greet customers at vehicle drop-off and collection points, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere
Accurately record customer service requirements and communicate effectively with the workshop team
Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle repairs or servicing
Provide transparent updates and explanations regarding work undertaken
Cost additional repairs or work recommended by technicians and gain customer approval before proceeding
Prepare and present accurate invoices, including recommended service plans and warranties
Upsell service products, warranties, and maintenance packages to maximise customer satisfaction and dealership profitabilityRequirements:

Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the motor trade industry
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Confident in upselling and suggesting additional products
IT literate, preferably with familiarity with systems such as CDK Drive or Kerridge
Well-organised with strong time-management skills as the Service Advisor
Full UK driving license, ideally with a clean record
Customer-focused attitude with a professional manner
