Description:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Service Advisor position based in Arnold, Nottingham. This is a key role within a well-established independent automotive business that has earned a strong reputation for delivering high-quality customer service and vehicle maintenance solutions. The successful Service Advisor will play a vital part in providing exceptional customer experiences, managing vehicle bookings, and supporting the workshop team.

Up to £30,000 basic salary, dependent on experience

Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
1 in 2 Saturdays working pattern

Welcoming customers and understanding their vehicle service and repair needs
Booking vehicles into the workshop and managing customer appointments
Providing regular updates to customers regarding repair progress
Liaising with technicians and workshop staff to ensure smooth workflow
Preparing estimates and obtaining customer authorisation for additional work
Explaining repairs and servicing options clearly and professionally
Handling customer queries in a professional manner and resolving any issues promptly
Ensuring all relevant documentation and customer records are accurately completed
Identifying and suggesting additional services or repairs where appropriate
Delivering a consistently high level of customer service throughout the customer journeyRequirements of a Service Advisor:

Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing automotive role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confident in dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone 
Well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, busy workshop environment
Positive, professional attitude with good attention to detail
Solid understanding of vehicle servicing and repair processes
