We are working on behalf of our client to recruit a Service Advisor for their well-established automotive bodyshop in Kirkby. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to join a reputable company that values customer service and operational excellence. The Service Advisor will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to customers throughout their vehicle repair journey.

Act as the primary contact for customers, offering a professional, friendly service
Manage customer enquiries via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions
Keep customers informed regarding the progress of their vehicle repairs
Schedule vehicle bookings, collections, and deliveries as required
Liaise with workshop team to obtain accurate repair updates and timescales
Communicate effectively with insurers and relevant third parties
Explain repair procedures and timescales clearly to customers
Resolve customer queries promptly and professionally
Maintain accurate and detailed customer and vehicle records
Provide general administrative support to the wider team
Ensure customers receive regular updates during their vehicle’s repair processRequirements of a Service Advisor:

Previous experience in customer service, administration, or as a Service Advisor
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Organised with excellent attention to detail
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and manage workload efficiently
Good IT literacy and confidence in using computer systems
Calm, professional attitude, especially during challenging situations
Proactive with a team-oriented approach
