Service Administrator

Our client, a well-established and growing logistics business based in Mallusk, is seeking an experienced and organised Service / Logistics Administrator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

Managing and processing quotations and bookings for UK and Ireland import/export shipments
Liaising with customers, depots, and transport companies to coordinate shipments efficiently
Coordinating transport bookings with the transport department
Preparing and handling transportation documentation
Monitoring the progress of consignments and resolving any issues that arise
Ensuring records and shipment information are accurate and up to date
Dealing with Customs & Excise requirements and related documentation
Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong working relationships

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience within logistics, transport, freight forwarding, or supply chain administration
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Confident using Microsoft Office and internal systems
Knowledge of customs procedures/import-export documentation would be advantageous
