As a Fixed Income Web Developer, you will play a key role in the evolution of our client's next-generation trading application. Your expertise in software design and development will be crucial for the success of this challenging opportunity. Our client's Fixed Income Technology team is responsible for delivering cutting-edge solutions to the Global Fixed Income business. Design and develop the flagship "Trader Desktop" platform
Collaborate with end users on requirements analysis and capture
Troubleshoot performance and scalability issues
Liaise with global business, support, and development teams
Assist in third-line support during core trading hours
Enhance automated testing efforts and optimise the UAT process
As a Fixed Income Web Developer, you will:
Utilise the latest technologies in web development
Develop efficient and robust solutions to complex business problems
Work on a globally distributed team to deliver the next-generation UI experience for traders
Gain knowledge and exposure to Front Office Trading Systems
Required:
7+ years of experience in developing large-scale enterprise trading applications
Proficiency in Angular 14.0+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SAAS/LESS
Experience with Angular grid libraries (ag-Grid) and Reactive programming paradigms (RxJS and NgRx)
Strong knowledge of unit testing frameworks (JEST, C#/.NET)
Familiarity with build pipelines (TeamCity, Jenkins) and cloud-native environments (OpenShift, Harness, Tekton)
Experience with real-time streaming data and REST services
Familiarity with tools such as Visual Studio Code, npm, and node.js
Recommended:
Experience with the ION Trading Platform, C#/.NET/WPF, and object-oriented programming
Knowledge of Rx extensions and financial products (Government Bonds, Interest Rates, Futures)
Nice to Have:
Experience with web-based data visualisation using HighCharts
Exposure to cross-platform applications using Web technologies (Electron, Chromium, WebView2)
Familiarity with KDB/q databases
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred
Excellent leadership and project management skills
Strong communication skills to interface with traders
Ability to work in a global distributed team environment
Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
