The Role

As a Senior Consultant, you will provide senior-level technical and strategic consultancy to clients across radioactive waste management, decommissioning and environmental remediation. You will lead and assure the quality of deliverables, manage external project delivery (including timescales, costs and resourcing), and play a key role in developing new business through well-structured, competitive bid responses.

Daily, you’ll be engaging with clients and internal stakeholders, coordinating specialist inputs, producing and reviewing high-quality technical documentation (including BAT, Letter of Compliance submissions, waste characterisation and study reports), authoring and reviewing procedures (e.g., work instructions and risk assessments), and contributing to workshops, meetings and committees.

You will have the following qualifications & experience

Recognised professional qualification (e.g., BSc/MSc/PhD or equivalent)
Proven nuclear industry experience delivering and managing high-quality technical and strategic consultancy work
Recognised specialist expertise within decommissioning, waste management and/or environmental restoration
Extensive experience preparing and managing competitive tender and proposal responses (approach, resourcing, schedule and pricing)
Proven capability managing project delivery to quality, time and budget, including coordinating multi-discipline resources
Strong technical authorship and peer review capability across complex nuclear documentation
Working knowledge of quality management systems and handling confidential/commercial information
Confident stakeholder communication across all levels; competent MS Office user
Relevant H&S qualification (or willingness to obtain with support); membership of an appropriate professional body is desirableApply now or get in touch with (url removed) to discuss in confidence.
