We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Vehicle Technician to join a busy and professional workshop in Maidstone. This is an excellent Senior Vehicle Technician opportunity for a skilled motor trade professional to advance their career within a reputable company that prioritises quality work and customer satisfaction. The role of Senior Vehicle Technician offers a variety of responsibilities, a supportive work environment, and comprehensive benefits.
Benefits:
Competitive starting salary of £40,000, with an achievable OTE of £43,000
Hours Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm, with no weekend work
Supportive and professional environment working alongside a small, experienced team
60-minute unpaid lunch break and two additional tea breaks
Opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks, including diagnostics, engine repairs, cambelts, and clutch replacements
Well-equipped workshop with modern tools, including Autel DiagnosticsDuties of a Senior Vehicle Technician:
Perform mechanical repairs, servicing, and diagnostics efficiently and accurately
Use Autel Diagnostics and other tools to identify faults and recommend appropriate repairs
Carry out engine replacements, cambelt changes, clutch repairs, and other mechanical work
Assist with routine maintenance such as oil changes and pollen filter replacements
Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure exceptional customer service
Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient and professional serviceRequirements of a Senior Vehicle Technician:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Master Technician, or Semi-Skilled Technician
MOT licence is preferred, but not essential
Sound knowledge of diagnostic tools and techniques, with experience in fast-fit services advantageous
Strong mechanical skills with the ability to work independently and within a team
Relevant qualifications such as ATA or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Repair
