Blueprint Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a driven Transport planner to join an independent Transport Planning Consultancy, on a long-term contract basis outside IR35.
The successful candidate will have the chance to work on exciting Residential and Rail projects whilst working remotely!
Our client is looking for a Senior Transport Planner to lead and manage transportation planning projects whilst providing technical expertise and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities:
Report writing, including evidence for inquiries
Ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget
Conduct transportation studies to support Infrastructure planning
Stay up to date on emerging trends and technologies
Prepare presentations for clients and project stakeholders
Attend project and client meetings when required
Develop innovative transportation solutions that address current needsKey Requirements:
Strong analytical skills, including the preparation of Trip Generation and Distribution spreadsheets
Working knowledge of ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG and TRANSYT
A degree in Transportation Planning or Engineering or a similar field
Fully licensed
Prior experience working in Transportation Planning
Knowledge of Transportation planning principles and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of delivering Transportation planning projects on time
