Opportunity to work with experienced planning professionalsA leading independent planning consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Planner to join its growing Manchester team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a planning professional looking to take the next step in their career, working across a diverse portfolio of development projects and providing strategic planning advice to a range of clients.
Responsibilities
Managing planning applications from inception through to determination.
Preparing planning statements and supporting documentation.
Providing strategic planning advice to clients.
Liaising with local planning authorities and other stakeholders.
Undertaking planning research and policy assessments.
Managing client relationships and project programmes.
Supporting junior members of the team and contributing to their development.
Assisting with business development and new instructions.Requirements
Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
Relevant professional planning experience.
Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and policy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
