Significant experience working within a planning consultancy, developer or local authority environment
A strong understanding of the UK planning system and development management
Experience managing planning applications from inception through to determination
Experience dealing with planning authorities and negotiating planning issues
Excellent report-writing and analytical skills
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand clients' objectives
The confidence to manage projects and communicate effectively with clients and consultants
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a close-knit team
Good organisation skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
A proactive and solutions-focused approach to planning challengesRequirements for the role of Senior Town Planner:
