Description:
Telford based engineering company expanding their sales and quotation department are seeking a Senior Tendering Engineer. You will be involved in supporting the sales team to prepare quotes for the manufacture of LV Switchgear. As Senior Tendering Engineer, you will:
Prepare detailed and accurate quotations based on customer requirements and specifications.
Create general arrangement drawings to support quotations and ensure clarity. Liaise directly with customers to interpret their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Collaborate with the external Business Development Manager to track quotation progress, manage re-quotes, and conduct customer visits.
Utilise system software to record and update quotations, customer interactions, and feedback.
Develop technical submissions to support quotations and ensure compliance with customer expectations.
What You Will Bring:
A strong understanding of the electrical engineering / electrical distribution industry and its applications.
LV Switchgear Experience is Essential (minimum 3 years)
Exceptional communication skills to build and maintain customer relationships.
Proficiency in creating technical drawings and interpreting specifications.
Experience with quotation preparation and knowledge of software tools
A commitment to quality and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
You will have current or recent experience in similar roles such as sales engineer, quotation engineer, technical sales engineer, applications engineer, electrical design engineer. Essentially within LV Switchgear, Low Voltage Switchgear, LV Switch Gear
In Return:
Salary of £45K + 10% Bonus
Very good working hours with early finish on Friday
