Senior Technical Coordinator
Location: Cannock (Head office) Covering midlands sites
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Technical Coordinator looking to play a key role in delivering a range of affordable housing and regeneration projects across the Midlands. With a mix of office, site and stakeholder-facing responsibilities, this role offers exposure to the full development lifecycle and the opportunity to work closely with internal teams, consultants, local authorities and housing partners to successfully deliver high-quality residential schemes.
The Role
As a Senior Technical Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing the technical delivery of multiple residential developments from planning through to completion.
Working closely with internal departments, consultants and local authorities, the Senior Technical Coordinator will ensure projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly and in line with programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all technical and design information for residential developments
Appoint, manage and monitor external consultants and specialist designers
Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions
Liaise with planning, building control, utility providers and statutory authorities
Ensure technical approvals are secured in line with project programmes
Attend site meetings and provide technical support to construction teams
Coordinate utility applications, service connections and infrastructure requirements
Identify and resolve technical issues throughout the development lifecycle
Support the wider technical team and mentor junior team members where required
Requirements
Previous experience as a Technical Coordinator or Senior Technical Coordinator within the residential housing sector
Strong understanding of residential construction, design and technical processes
Experience managing consultants and external stakeholders
Good knowledge of planning, building regulations and NHBC requirements
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
