TPF Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Senior Accountancy Practice Tax Manager to join a prestigious and rapidly growing client based in Forest Row. Our client, a small yet thriving independent firm, prides itself on its excellent reputation and is home to a dedicated team of around 20 staff members. Situated amidst the serene surroundings of Forest Row, this opportunity offers the chance to work in a unique and close-knit professional environment.
As a Senior Accountancy Practice Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the firm's Tax Advisory Group, collaborating on a diverse range of tax projects across various sectors. Your responsibilities will include producing reports and letters of advice on tax advisory issues, overseeing HMRC correspondence, and actively participating in client meetings alongside partners. Additionally, you will be involved in training and reviewing the work of junior team members and supporting partners in developing and monitoring processes.
Examples of tax projects you may engage in include advising on corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs (such as EIS/SEIS), staff incentive schemes, and guiding owner-managed businesses on remuneration planning, succession planning, CGT, and IHT mitigation. You will also be responsible for reviewing complex corporation tax computations and returns.
Requirements
To thrive in this role, we are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual with a proven track record as a tax adviser. While CTA qualification is preferred, candidates with ACA/ACCA qualification and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a tax advisory role are encouraged to apply.
