Our partner is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to work within multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the mechanical, electrical, and software design aspects of a project function seamlessly and the system meets the customer needs.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Systems Engineer:

Requirements Capture and management.
Functional and Physical Systems Architecture Design and Definition.
System Modelling.
Development of Engineering Management Plans (Safety Management, Test Integration & Acceptance, Technical Risk Management).
Gathering of verification evidence for System Requirements.
Creation of Procurement Specifications for sub-systems and components.
Writing test specifications.
Conducting Design reviews.
Environmental Qualification Plans (EMC, Temperature, Shock & Vibration).Key Skills & Experience Required for the Senior Systems Engineer:

Essential -

A degree in Engineering or physical sciences.
Minimum of 5 years’ systems engineering experience in a defence engineering (or similar) company.
Proficient in the use of requirements management tools (DOORS, Visure or R4J).
Work package management in JIRA.
Proficient in Report Writing. Desirable -

Technical Leadership of project teams with a significant level of responsibility for managing project risks and for delivering on time and on budget.
Experience in working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Working in multi-disciplinary teams on projects with a high level of complexity.
Safety Management (MIL-STD 882E, DEF-STAN 00-56, ISO 12100:2010).
Statutory Compliance (CE Marking).
Camera Sensor Technology (InfraRed and visible spectrum, DRI performance).
Fault-Tree and Failure Mode Analysis.Company Benefits:
