Description:
Atrium Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of a client for Senior Support Worker (Adult Supported Living). The client offers care and support services to adults with a learning and physical disabilities.
Responsibilities:
You will assist individuals with their personal care needs and budgeting, as well as support with menu planning, shopping, cooking and domestic tasks.
You will also provide support in accessing facilities within the community, including leisure activities and in promoting independence.
To provide a service to people with learning disabilities and others within the community.
To support and develop the independence of service users.
To work within the team and in partnership with others to ensure that this service is of a high standard.
To help assess the needs of particular individuals and develop plans to meet those needs.
Work closely with the Service Manager to inspire and motivate the team to provide a high-quality service as well assist in implementing current legislation and CQC requirements.
Essential:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
Having the use of a car and a full UK driving license.
Experience of working with people disadvantaged through illness and disability.
