Excellent opportunity for a Senior Support worker within an 8 bedded residential home for adults with learning disabilities.

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our Client are looking for a Senior support worker to join the team supporting the management and assisting with leading staff on shift.

They are looking for a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our dynamic team and help us achieve this mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate a team of support workers to deliver outstanding care.
Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for residents and staff.
Provide hands-on support with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and social activities.
Monitor and document residents' progress, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care.
Conduct training and development sessions for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a setting supporting adults with learning disabilities.
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or would be desirable
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
