We are currently looking for a number of senior support workers across south wales to join one our national children provider clients and need you!
Key Responsibilities
* Direct Care: Provide trauma-informed, person-centered support in a therapeutic children's residential setting.
* Leadership: Assist the home manager in mentoring support workers, leading shifts, and ensuring high standards of care.
* Safeguarding: Protect young people from harm and strictly adhere to child protection procedures.
* Administration: Assist with shift planning, accurate record-keeping, and care plan reviews.
* Community Engagement: Facilitate leisure and educational activities to help young people build life skills. [1, 2, 3]
Requirements
* Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent in Health & Social Care).
* Experience: Previous experience working in a residential care setting with children or vulnerable individuals.
* Licensing: A full, manual UK driving license is strictly required.
