Role overview of our Senior Supply Chain Coordinator

The Senior Supply Chain Coordinator will own the procure-to-pay (P2P) processes within SRT's Systems business, with an absolute passion for data and process. The role is accountable for an efficient, compliant and well-measured P2P cycle, from purchase order through receipt, put-away and transfer, and for continuously improving it. Working as a team with the Supply Chain Coordinator (whom it line-manages), the role ensures orders are raised, approved and progressed in good time, suppliers are engaged operationally, and stock moves cleanly through the warehouse to the point of shipment.

The role of Senior Supply Chain Coordinator is based from our Bristol & Midsomer Nortonoffices, with flexibility for Hybrid working. This role may on occasion require occasional overseas travel as required by the business.

Operational supplier management
Own the operational supplier relationship: lead times, order confirmations, delivery performance and chasing
Support the Procurement Manager and Quality Manager on new supplier setup, supplier assurance and supplier qualification
Inbound, warehouse and stock movement
Own a solid, compliant inbound and receiving process into the warehouse, enabling the warehouse team to put items away correctly
Raise transfer orders to ship stock, in close liaison with the Shipping Manager
Maintain data visibility of stock that re-lands on the system at a different inventory value once shipped (data sight, not process ownership)
Data and continuous improvement
Drive process improvement across the P2P cycle as a core, ongoing focus
Use data to measure, monitor and improve performance, and to maintain high data quality in Business Central
