Are you a Chartered Structural Engineer looking to step into a senior leadership role with a leading consultancy, where you'll lead a team of engineers, drive business growth, earn an annual bonus, and have a clear pathway to Director level?

Founded over 50 years ago, this established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy delivers practical and innovative civil, structural, transport and surveying solutions across residential, commercial, education, science, infrastructure and industrial projects. Working in both the public and private sectors, the team collaborates closely with architects, developers, contractors and local authorities to provide high-quality engineering expertise from project conception through to completion.

In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of structural engineering projects across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, education, science and infrastructure. You'll develop client relationships, identify new business opportunities and play a key role in growing the Hertfordshire office. Working closely with clients, architects and contractors, you'll oversee project delivery, review technical designs, mentor junior engineers and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.

This role would suit a Chartered Structural Engineer looking for a senior leadership role, where they can lead a team, grow client relationships and progress towards Director level.

The Role:

Leading the design and delivery of structural engineering projects across multiple sectors
Managing and mentoring a team of 17 Structural Engineers and Technicians
Reviewing structural calculations, drawings and technical documentation
Managing project delivery, budgets and programme deadlinesThe Person:

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Chartered Engineer status
Proven structural engineering experience within a consultancy environment
Experience using Tekla and Tedds
