Senior Structural Engineer- Aberdeen, Scotland

Overview:

A leading engineering firm seeks a Senior Structural Engineer for their Fleet and Equipment team. This role involves providing technical support for a global fleet and developing structural engineering solutions for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide structural engineering expertise and support.
Prepare and check design reports, calculations, and specifications.
Conduct design and analysis using STAAD Pro, FS2000, and ANSYS.
Ensure designs meet industry standards and client specifications.
Support large procurement packages and coordinate with other disciplines.
Provide occasional offshore or site support.
Mentor junior engineers.

Desired Experience and Skills:

Degree in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Naval Architecture (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MathCAD, STAAD Pro, FS2000, ANSYS.
Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
Experience in Marine and Oil and Gas industry design.
Familiarity with industry codes and standards.
