Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analysing, and constructing various structures. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the structural integrity and safety of projects.
Duties
- Design and analyse structures using engineering software and tools
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports
- Collaborate with architects and contractors to develop structural plans
- Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and provide recommendations
- Ensure compliance with UK building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Perform calculations to determine load capacities and stresses on structures
- Review project plans and proposals for feasibility and accuracy
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and drafters
