An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer to join a highly regarded and forward-thinking engineering consultancy in London.
The successful candidate will take a leading role within the Structures team, working on a diverse range of technically challenging projects across education, healthcare, commercial and residential sectors. The position offers significant responsibility for project delivery, technical leadership, client liaison and supporting the continued growth of the team.
Responsibilities will include leading projects from feasibility and concept through to detailed design and construction support, reviewing calculations and technical documentation, managing resources and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Strong experience in steel and concrete frame design, foundation design and connection design is essential.
The role will also involve mentoring engineers and graduates, developing client relationships and contributing to bids and new business opportunities.
Candidates should be Chartered Engineers (CEng) with a recognised professional institution and have a minimum of 8 years' relevant structural engineering experience, together with strong consultancy experience and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD is also required.
