I'm currently recruiting for a well-established engineering consultancy in Newcastle with an excellent reputation for delivering technically challenging refurbishment, adaptive reuse and structural investigation projects across the UK.
This is an opportunity to work on projects where every day is different, developing solutions for complex existing structures while working alongside highly experienced Chartered Engineers.

The Role
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you'll manage projects from concept through to completion while working closely with clients, architects and multidisciplinary design teams.
Typical projects include:
* Heritage & listed buildings
* Structural investigations
* Existing building refurbishments
* Adaptive reuse
* Commercial & public sector developments
You'll also mentor junior engineers, develop client relationships and play a key role in delivering technically challenging projects across the North East and beyond.
About You
You'll ideally have:
* 5+ years' experience within a UK structural consultancy.
* Experience designing in steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
* Strong communication and client-facing skills.
* Chartered status or actively working towards Chartership.
* An interest in refurbishment, conservation or existing buildings.
