Singh & Jones have partnered with an established global Multi D Consultancy, who are looking to develop their London office, after building a reputation across the US and North America. As a forward thinking organisation, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to become the focal point in projects in London/Europe and India.
The role will be reporting to the Associate Director and your duties will include;
* Structural design elements on projects as required; undertaking detailed engineering design of a wide variety of buildings in the UK/Europe and further afield in Aisa
* Working closely with technicians on CAD and REVIT drawings.
* Representing the company at meetings with the client, other professionals and suppliers.
* Delivering excellent project work within agreed deadlines and within budget.
* Ensuring appropriate service/design decisions are met.
* Keeping senior staff informed of important and relevant design decisions to make sure that the objectives of the company and the client are achieved.
* Coordinating your work with other members of the project team.
The position will suit a candidate with a Master Degree in structural engineering and must have 5 years + of relevant experience in the UK on new and existing buildings. Having previous experience with all materials on build structures in essential, as well as good AutoCAD skills and other engineering software; Revit Structures is an advantage. Working knowledge and understanding of relevant domestic standards
