We're recruiting on behalf of one of Edinburgh's most respected hospitality groups for an experienced and passionate Senior Sous Chef to join a busy, high-quality kitchen operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, seasonal menus and a talented team in a fast-paced, professional environment. You'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in delivering consistently exceptional food while helping to motivate and develop the brigade.
What You'll Be Doing

Supporting the Head Chef with the smooth operation of the kitchen
Leading and inspiring the team during service
Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
Assisting with menu development and seasonal dish creation
Managing stock, ordering and food cost controls
Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are always met
Training and developing junior chefs What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef ready to step up
A passion for fresh, seasonal cooking
Strong leadership and communication skills
High standards and attention to detail
The ability to thrive in a busy kitchen environment
A positive, hands-on approach and a genuine love of hospitality What's On Offer
