We seek an ambitious and passionate senior software engineer with the energy to help us deliver solutions within an expanding business.
This is an exciting and challenging technical role for an individual with experience of implementing solutions which achieve the tenants of security, robustness, scalability, and future proof elements of application development.
The successful candidate is granted autonomy to define, implement and continually improve the company’s bespoke software services. The individual must have extensive technical experience of implementing resilient applications.
Explore how you’ll support our purpose…
· Definition and delivery of functional application services ( APIs, ancillary applications)
· Collaborate with the software architect to define the application development framework pursuant with best practice and lead-edge technologies.
· Develop the most critical components of the system to best practice architecture.
· Construct suggestions about the best alternatives to the existing systems, considering engineering and the business aspects of solution proposals.
· In collaboration with the software architect, define and implement the bespoke application services roadmap.

· Ability to grasp concepts quickly and an eagerness to acquire new skills.
· Ability to plan and predict trends (e.g., capacity management, risks, market trends)
· Attain and continually update knowledge of emerging industry trends.

· Degree in Computer Science/ Business Administration or equivalent commercial experience.
· Extensive technical knowledge and expertise of implementing development and services within a cloud environment utilising backend technology (dotnet exposure preferable) with JavaScript, SQL.
· Knowledge of automated testing
· Knowledge of CI/CD including deployment mechanisms.
· Experience scaling web applications.
· Ability to transpose customer requirements into robust application services.
