We're recruiting on behalf of an IT Services Provider for a Senior Software Engineer (Data) to design and develop modern data management tools.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Understanding business needs, facilitating, and developing process workflow, data requirements, and specifications required to support implementation.
Design, build, implement, test, and monitor in class software components for data engineering.
API integration and redesign for data set exchanges.
Application development for Data Governance and Data Quality.
Support users in resolving issues by troubleshooting.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Strong software engineering and application development background, demonstrate with Hands-on experience with Java, Python, Scala, or similar technologies.
Hands-on experience with AWS and snowflake.
Financial services industry experience (highly desirable).
Experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent.
