Our client Isle of Wight council is looking for a Senior Social Worker to join their Assessment & MASH team.
Agency Social Worker - Assessment & MASH Experience Required
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Agency Social Worker with a strong background in both statutory assessments and MASH/front door work.
The successful candidate will be able to complete high-quality, child-centred assessments that are analytical, outcome-focused and completed within statutory timescales. They will have sound assessment skills, be confident in identifying risk and need, and make recommendations that lead to the right outcomes for children and families.
In addition, the social worker must be able to also undertake tasks in MASH triage, including gathering and analysing information from partner agencies, contacting families, determining the appropriate threshold for intervention, and making timely, evidence-based decisions to ensure children receive the right level of support at the right time.
We are looking for a proactive practitioner with excellent communication skills, strong professional judgement, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
