Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to take responsibility for a substantial residential development in Leominster.
Senior Site Manager – The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Site Manager to take full responsibility for the delivery of a large residential development, managing the construction programme, site operations and overall build quality.
You will lead an established site management team, including two Assistant Site Managers, with responsibility for ensuring the development is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
The position offers considerable autonomy, the support of an established regional management team and genuine opportunities for further progression within a leading national housebuilder.
Senior Site Manager – Duties & Responsibilities
* Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of a large residential development.
* Lead, manage and develop a site management team, including two Assistant Site Managers.
* Oversee all daily site operations, subcontractors, trades and suppliers.
* Manage construction programmes, ensuring build targets and key milestones are achieved.
* Maintain exceptional standards of build quality, presentation and customer satisfaction.
* Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
* Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity and workmanship.
* Oversee NHBC inspections, quality control and regulatory compliance.
* Manage site logistics, material deliveries and resource planning.
* Ensure plots are completed, snagged and handed over to the highest standards.
* Liaise with the Contracts Manager and wider regional construction team.
* Identify and resolve construction challenges to maintain programme and quality.
* Drive a positive site culture focused on safety, teamwork and high performance.
Senior Site Manager – Requirements
* Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or experienced Site Manager within residential housebuilding.
* Previous experience working for a national or regional PLC housebuilder is highly desirable.
* Demonstrable experience managing large residential developments and multiple site management staff.
* Strong technical knowledge of traditional residential construction methods.
* Excellent understanding of NHBC standards, building regulations and health and safety requirements.
* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
* Proven ability to deliver developments to programme while maintaining exceptional build quality.
* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
* Stable employment history with a track record of successful project delivery.
